Do I need special insurance on my home computer?

Your home computer is covered under your homeowners policy in the same fashion as the rest of your personal property. Computers however, are more sensitive and fragile. If your data and software are particularly important to you, we suggest special coverage. A notebook computer is particularly vulnerable to breakage. We always suggest special coverage for notebooks.
